My Style


My approach is a little different from others.  I want to help you document the season that you want to remember and I want to do that in a meaningful way.  We live in a culture where we literally take photos all the time, but will you come back to these photos years from now and if so, how will they make you feel?  These are questions that I want each of my clients to consider before investing in a wedding or family photographer.  I don’t want to meet you in an arbitrary location or venue and tell you how to pose and force you to smile at my camera. You probably have plenty of photos like that already (I know I do).  That’s not my style and if you’ve made it this far, I’m guessing this is probably not your style either.  I’m all about getting to know each other and making real memories in a place that you and your loved ones have a connection to.  It doesn’t matter if we are in the comfort of your home, at a beautiful wedding venue, or at the top of the most epic mountain.  I want to create a meaningful experience and have the best time in the process so you will want to look back at your images and remember that time in your life!

If you think this sounds weird, then I think it’s safe to say we probably won’t be a good fit for working together. And that’s OK because I believe there is a photographer out there for everyone.  This is a big community and if you need help finding your perfect fit, feel free to reach out and I would be happy to connect you with one of my friends.  We’re all in this together.

What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?

If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. We want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and we're flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances.
