(and no—it’s not my government name… but it’s the one that stuck 😉)

 

I’m a storyteller— the one who’s always pulling out her camera because the moment feels too important not to keep. I believe in breaking the rules a little, trusting my gut, and letting my heart lead the way.


I don’t shoot what it looks like. I shoot what it feels like.

I have had Birdie photograph my family on multiple occasions and each time she has delivered pictures that were far beyond my expectations. She exudes joy, acceptance, and compassion from behind the lens.  Birdie is able to photograph you in the way you have always wanted to be seen. I don’t know how she does it, but she is able to portray the deepest, darkest and most beautiful parts of you. The entire session is comfortable from beginning to end because of her warm, fun personality. She is adventurous and willing to go to extremes to capture the best and most unique portraits. Her sessions are always one of a kind and unforgettable. Not only does Birdie have skill and talent but most importantly she is passionately creative. Birdie/Britney/Birdwoman - Three different names for three different personalities. Birdie is sweet, kind and spunky. Britney is efficient, approachable, professional. Birdwoman, while she is professional she  is free-spirited , while also a bit cuckoo about her work! We loved working with Britney for a part of our wedding team! Absolutely amazing experience!
